NELSON has been recognized as both one of the 100 fastest growing companies, and as one of the five Great Places to Work. We are currently looking for an Information Services Line of Business Director with the skills, vision, and character to develop innovative ways to contribute to our success.

This experienced Director will lead our growing Information Services line of business, and innovate at the intersection of cyberspace, real estate, facilities and workplace. The successful individuals will enjoy risk and reward in equal measure, have an ability to take charge, and have the willingness to make a difference in a fast paced, client focused environment. We are looking for someone who is able to lead, and not follow, trends and forces of industry consolidation.

Specific Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Create and implement a compelling vision and strategy for the Information Services Line of Business that complements and augments NELSON’s integrated services model.
  • Accelerate the convergence of Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Integrated Workplace Management Systems (IWMS) and CAD/CAFM worlds.
  • Lead all Information Services marketing and sales pursuits.
  • Recruit, motivate, and develop exceptional talent for the Information Services Team.
  • Ensure NELSON clients realize significant returns on their investment.
  • Serve as the senior Subject Matter Expert and liaison between NELSON clients and the NELSON management team for all Information Services offerings.
  • Create, maintain, and adhere to budgets and schedules which support the Information Services Line of Business and ensure exceptional financial results.
  • Develop and implement all operational policies to ensure the effective delivery of Information Services team.
  • Ensure the service delivered by every member of the Information Services team meets the highest standards of quality for our clients.
  • Facilitate exceptional relationships between clients and all members of the Information Services Team.
  • Foster consistent innovation and creative problem solving using cutting edge technology.
  • Prepare accurate reports and present timely analysis to Senior Management in order to facilitate corporate decisions.
  • Present NELSON successful case studies at conferences and industry events in order to elevate our presence and attract new clients and talent.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar position. In addition, the ideal Candidate will have the following skills:

  • A strong knowledge of industry best practices in Integrated Workplace Management Systems, and their application within an integrated process.
  • Expert knowledge of IWMS systems including Tririga, Manhattan/Centerstone, Bricsnet, Archibus, Accruent, Planon, etc.
  • Proven success creating and leading a high performance Information Services team.
  • Prior successful management of complex projects utilizing technology innovations to increase efficiencies in a Fortune 500 environment preferred.
  • Impeccable oral and written communication skills and the ability to persuade clients and teammates.
  • A thorough understanding of contract administration procedures for professional services and consultants.
  • Exceptional project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
  • Previous success serving as a public representative for a line of business or company at industry conferences and events.
