We are seeking an individual to perform programming and scripting in support of the use, maintenance, and dissemination of Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) data in .las and .xyzi file formats, derivative elevation data in raster and vector formats like digital elevation models and cartographic contour lines, orthoimagery, metadata, and related information resources.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in geography, geology, or applicable discipline with 3 years related industry or research experience. Experience working with LiDAR data and Orthophotography for subject-specific data applications. Experience with ESRI ArcGIS for Desktop and ArcGIS Server. Knowledge of database, geospatial, and enhanced elevation data file formats. Knowledge of principles of relational databases and software. Prefer experience with LiDAR data processing software like MARS Explorer QC and QCoherent LP360 software, data storage software like ArcSDE and ESRI Image Server, and data access solutions like ArcGIS Server software from ESRI or LiDAR Server software from QCoherent, and/or open source data storage and map service software packages.
