Geographic Information System (GIS) Technician

Middle Tennessee Electric Membership Corporation is seeking applicants for the position of Geographic Information System (GIS) Technician.

The successful candidate must have four-year college degree from an accredited college in Geographic Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.  
Must have a minimum of four years of experience in GIS system configuration, preferably in Esri ArcGIS & Telvent ArcFM Suites.  
Advanced knowledge and experience of GIS concepts, procedures, design methods and technologies, including, but not limited to Esri ArcGIS, Telvent ArcFM Solution and SQL Server is required.

Responsibilities will be to provide support with development and maintenance of various Geospatial applications within the MTEMC Enterprise GIS Landscape, including, but not limited to, system interface configuration, database design, database querying and appropriate representation of findings. This includes improving the policies, procedures, standards, accuracy, and consistency of the MTEMC GIS Landscape.
