Corporate GIS Manager - City of Portland, Oregon
Description: The Corporate GIS Manager for the Bureau of Technology Services manages the technical team that builds and operates the City’s Enterprise GIS. This position will use their experience working with enterprise GIS products, including those from ESRI. The Corporate GIS Manager is responsible for the team that supports over 1,000 ArcGIS enabled desktops, and online products such as PortlandMaps.
This position entails both hands-on GIS software skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communication skills are used for both direct customer interaction and acting as liaison between the customer and technical staff. This position will also work with ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Desktop, Google Maps, Google Earth, SQL Server and Oracle.
