Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, business administration or related field; and three years progressively responsible computer software support services experience, including on-line programming experience, application system and program analysis and design experience; or any equivalent combination of related training and experience. Applicants within six months of meeting the minimum education/experience requirement may be considered for trainee status.
Looking for a geospatial & RDBMS-oriented person who will maintain & administer geospatial, web systems & related databases for the Growth Management Department. Will be part of a dynamic team of 5-6, & will provide technical support & leadership for database storage for design of data models, including geospatials for application configurations and overall design of our systems. Should have proven knowledge of the most current geospatial & web technologies, such as ArcSDE, Oracle Server, MySQL Server. Knowledge of web frameworks, Postgresql/PostGIS, MapServer, GeoServer and PHP are highly desirable.
