URISA Connect Call for Presentations

URISA, The Association for GIS Professionals, has always been a leader in educational opportunities, both for members and the greater GIS community.  In continuing this tradition, URISA Connect webinars are presented, which continue the long-standing tradition of excellent educational opportunities, but delivered in the virtual environment.  We are looking for GIS, management, leadership and innovation topics.  If you would like to be considered as a presenter please submit a presentation proposal.

The benefits of presenting a webinar include increased visibility in your field of expertise, valuable contributions to the GIS community and credit for your GISP application or renewal. (CON)
Webinars are presented live, 60-90 minute sessions on a topic of interest.  Each presentation is recorded as it is presented for future viewing by URISA members.
Proposals submitted by perspective presenters should demonstrate a dynamic and innovative approach for delivering information.  Educational webinars should be non-commercial, innovative, effective, and unique.  Real world projects, applications and case-studies are always welcome and encouraged.  Do you have ideas that are related to GIS?    Do you have specific work experience that would be invaluable, if shared with a larger audience?  URISA is the platform to get your message heard.
Submit a title and convincing outline for your proposed webinar to kbrennan@urisa.org.   Use the application form (application form) to submit applications.  URISA will review, promote and host this event.
