Although Return on Investment (ROI) calculations can be used to justify the implementation of GIS, it is rarely applied in the GIS field.  In this session, we’ll address this topic from two very different angles.  The first paper will introduce and present the use of ROI in a GIS setting.  The second paper will present a practical application, evaluating ROI when using oblique imagery for field assessors.
