GIS Programmer/Engineer, Lead

The position has various responsibilities, including:

  • Application programming using WebApp Builder, ArcGIS API for JavaScript, ArcPy, C#, and GeoCortex Essentials and Workflow Designer. 
  • Application management including needs assessment, GUI design, system architecture, software development, implementation processes, integration testing, performance tuning, documentation, and system rollout.
  • ArcServer management
  • Web services, map services and feature services development and maintenance
  • GeoEvent Server development and management
  • Integrate GIS with other enterprise systems like asset and emergency management systems
  • Manage interagency projects
  • Provide technical expertise in designing, deploying, and administering the enterprise GIS systems in support of local government needs
