Job #2 Category: ManagementClark County, NV is looking for a manager with SAP technical experience to manage, coordinate and direct the Basis and ABAP teams in support of the implementation and maintenance of SAP System services for 17,000 employees. Clark County’s focus is on the maximization of its SAP system landscape and applications and has a number of initiatives in progress and/or in the planning stages. These include Enhancement Pack 6 with the activation of Feature Packs; Business Objects rollout for Web Intelligence, Dashboards, and Explorer; Manager Self Service through the Employee Portal; Customer Relationship Management including Customer Interaction Center, Web Channel, Citizen Connect, and Field Services Mobile Solution. Clark County is a SAP certified Customer Center of Expertise.
Salary Range: $70,928.00 - $109,928.00
Duties:
- Identifies and oversees projects for the Basis and ABAP Teams
- Ensures the quality assurance and security elements are incorporated into system and application development projects
- Monitors production issues and project status and provides reports as appropriate
- Provides technical expertise and assistance to the Basis and ABAP Teams as required
- Promotes end-user awareness of SAP maintenance and project related events which can affect system availability and performance
- Maintains quality control of changes to the production environment
- Maintains procedures for prototyping and testing changes to systems and services
Qualifications:
Equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a closely related field AND five (5) years of full-time professional level work in development or implementation.
