Description: Plans, directs, and evaluates day-to-day projects and activities associated with transportation systems management functions to ensure effective and efficient functioning of the division, while maintaining conformance with pertinent laws, rules, regulations, policies, procedures and standards.
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field with a minimum of six (6) years engineering experience related to Transportation Systems Management. Minimum of two years experience using FSUTMS or equivalent transportation modeling system OR - Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning/GIS or related field with a minimum of eight (8) years experience related to Transportation Systems Management. (NOTE: Master’s degree in Urban Planning/GIS, or related field, may substitute for two (of the 8) years of required experience.) Minimum of four (4) years experience using FSUTMS or equivalent transportation modeling system.
Two (2) years supervisory experience required.
Current Florida Professional Engineer (P.E.) License (may consider out-of-state P. E. License, with ability to transfer to Florida within one (1) year of hire date. OR Current American Institute of Certified Planners (A.I.C.P.) certification required. Valid driver\'s license with valid Florida driver\'s license within 30 days of hire.
