URISA Debuts New and Improved Publication

Every other month since the 1970's, URISA members have been receiving their copy of URISA News, the association's newsletter covering industry trends and news. 2010 brings a new and improved publication, as URISA debuts THE GIS PROFESSIONAL.

THE GIS PROFESSIONAL will continue to provide industry and association news and will also include feature articles from two volunteer editors. Keri Shearer, GISP, from the City of Charlotte, NC will contribute articles focusing on hot topics, trends and case studies. Comfort Manyame, GISP, from Mid South Synergy Electric Cooperative in Texas, will focus on technology and applications.

URISA is excited to debut this new publication and encourages its membership to contribute articles and ideas to continuously improve upon its content and value.
