We are seeking an energetic character to join our existing group of GIS developers in Orangeville, Ontario. While working for a firm that genuinely promotes a healthy work-life balance, the selected individual will design, program and maintain commercial and internal applications for the Burnside Geomatics team.
Graduates of a Computer Science or related program would be ideal; as would two to five years of programming experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required for both this position and the career development opportunities that it may offer.
Required skills include GIS Programming experience with Microsoft C# and Visual Basic 6.0; ArcObjects development experience; ArcGIS desktop experience; and ESRI geodatabase experience. SQL Server development experience, ArcGIS Server experience (including ArcIMS and ArcSDE) and Microsoft Access Database development experience would all be considered an asset.
