GIS Programmer Analyst

PlanGraphics, Inc., has opportunities for GIS database and application analysts.
Positions require well-developed GIS application programming, database administration, and project management skills and ability to work as a self-starter and in team environments. Candidates should have experience implementing, maintaining, and tuning data in an ArcSDE/Oracle 10g environment, programming in VB/ArcObjects, and developing and supporting applications on ArcGIS Server 9.2 (or .3).
These positions require extensive knowledge and demonstrable experience with a wide range of ESRI products including ArcGIS, ArcIMS, ArcSDE and ArcGIS Server. Application programming experience; Java development, VB.Net, C#, and ASP.net programming expertise is desirable. In addition, experience with water and sewer facilities is preferred.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, work and manage multiple projects and/or tasks, ensuring that projects are on time and within budget.
Limited travel is required. Must be willing and able to travel within northeast and mid-Atlantic regions.
Positions require bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, mathematics, geography, engineering, or related field and have excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
