URISA and the National Emergency Number Association (NENA) are pleased to announce that registration has opened for the 2012 Addressing Conference taking place August 6-9 at the Peabody Hotel in Memphis, Tennessee.
Early registration discounts are available until July 9 with added savings for URISA, NENA and NAPSG members. Exhibit and sponsorship opportunities are also available.
Important preconference courses and workshops will be featured on Monday, August 6:
Tim Trainor, from the U.S. Census Bureau, will deliver the opening keynote address: A Census Bureau and Local Collaborative Addressing Effort - The Importance of Local Address Lists.
The conference committee has organized the program into three tracks: Addressing, Next Generation 9-1-1 and Collaboration.
Here is just a sampling of some of the important sessions on the schedule:
A Technical Tour will take place on Thursday, August 9 with stops at the Memphis Police Department (primary PSAP for City of Memphis and the Memphis Fire Department (secondary PSAP for the City of Memphis).
