Providing Solutions to Challenges

Following two successful conferences presented in partnership by the National Center for Transit Research (NCTR) and URISA, we are pleased to announce an expanded collaboration in 2013 with the Transportation Research Board (TRB):
The program committee is currently evaluating the abstracts. We will accept late abstracts to the extent that they can be fit into the program.
Please contact Pat Francis for additional information.

During the 2008 GIS/CAMA Technologies Conference that was held in New Orleans, conference attendees participated in a post-conference volunteer activity through the Beacon of Hope Resource Center. All who participated were grateful to have the opportunity to contribute to rebuilding efforts by cleaning up one of the affected areas devastated by Hurricane Katrina in 2005.
David Dubauskas , Chairman of this year’s conference will welcome attendees to the conference and introduce some distinguished guests.
We will then welcome David Gisclair, Technical Assistance Program Director for the Louisiana Oil Spill Coordinator’s Office in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Mr. Gisclair will deliver the Keynote Address.
Planning and responding to events, those fundamental to business or catastrophic in nature, requires reliable information and cooperation from a variety of sources. This session highlights proven cases of effective cross-jurisdictional collaboration.
(Attendees must pre-register for Pre Conference Workshops. Class limit is
