URISA is relaunching it’s Webinar offerings and needs dedicated volunteers to help develop and review content, identify engaging and informational topics and help create a well-rounded offering schedule for 2011.

Who should be inducted into the URISA GIS Hall of Fame this year? Nominations are due by May 1. Whomever it will be...they will join some very fine company! http://www.urisa.org/hall_of_fame

data.gov is a site designed for public participation in shaping future access to government information. It is an online platform that was launched to evolve data.gov.

One idea for which they're looking for comment is that data.gov should "... become a nationally managed "access point" that provides a mechanism for all levels of government to participate or integrate with, thus creating a single location for citizens to access government data."
