Description: Salary: $50,494.32 - $75,741.60 + Benefits.

In the City's GIS Center, develops and integrates GIS-based enterprise solutions and services with departmental workflows and business processes, including but not limited to: cadastral, emergency response, waste management, work order processing, utility networks, property, right-of-way, topographic, planimetric, flood zones, addresses, street networks, street and addressing guide, tax maps, mapbooks, landuse, zoning and related database information required in support of the municipal enterprise geographic information system ensuring accurate and complete spatial information to established cartographic standards; coordinates and leads teams that include subject-matter specialists from other departments and GIS Center members to identify processes that can be automated and enhanced through GIS applications, prepares final GIS products, prepares database reports, web pages as required in support of the Municipality's enterprise geographic information system; performs spatial data layer creation and conversion, geo-database management and administration; coordinates GPS data collection, converts data from outside sources; integrates data sets, maintains meta-data, documents departmental work-flow, adheres to appropriate security and privacy requirements, performs quality control and quality assurance on GIS products.
Requires any combination of education (above high school) and/or experience equal to 8 years in positions such as Cartographer, Systems Analyst, Database Analyst, Programmer Analyst, or Civil Engineer, and including 4 years specializing in professional GIS work integrating GIS commercial off-the-shelf products with municipal business practices and processes.
