Salary range: $55,736.16 - $83,604.24 (+ Benefits).
Description:
ComIT’s GIS Center needs an experienced individual to analyze and install manufacturer supplied system software and hardware to maintain or enhance the operating system and configuration; plan and administer such projects to establish impact and scope, establish schedules, and to ensure satisfactory and timely completion of work; design, prepare, and review hardware specifications, software configurations, RFPs, contracts, and other documents; review installation instructions for compatibility with multi-vendor configuration; participate in the selection of software and hardware products; train and may direct work of junior system engineers; provide technical advice and perform problem solving to provide around-the-clock system availability.
Requirements:
Requires any combination of education (above the high school level) and/or experience equivalent to at least eight (8) years of creditable IT work, one year of which must include systems programming, operating, and/or technical systems analysis.
